HP 57

After filling up the printer still says ink low.  The book tells me to goto page 87 and there is no page 87.

Hi!  You might have to trick the printer into thinking you put in a new cartridge.  Click on (or copy & paste) the first link below for the first set of instructions, then the 2nd.  HP cartridges should work after that.  Good Luck!

For most of the HP 21/22 27/28 and the 56/57/58 cartridges the printer has a short term memory and will recall the last two carts used. If you have "old" empty carts insert them, add a second and then replace the original (which is now the third)and the inl level will show full. You can also buy a resetter for all of the above see http://www.sharpink.co.uk hope this helps
