I asked the company but did not get a response. I think something is wrong with this company. Warning!!!

My experience, exactly. I am returning the refill kit to Sam's Club where I bought it.

I should have posted that the source for the refill kit was The Brand Network Inc., www.kalvins.com. It was impossible to call their support line, as it was constantly busy, and they never answered my question posted on their support web site. They did not have specific instructions in the kit or on the web site for this toner cartridge, even though they say the kit is supposed to be for it (and others).
